Tony graduated in French and German from St Johns College, Oxford. He worked as a copywriter and in corporate communications, before a stint at the BBC and what proved to be a long-standing relationship with the MEDIA Programme of the EU launched his career as a screenwriter and script consultant.
His credits as writer include Bergerac and the films Thacker (dir: Richard Spence) Going to Kansas City, and Lost Dogs (dir: Jim Doyle). As a script editor his most recent work has been on Kings (dir: Tom Collins) and the film series Varg Veum Private Investigator for Miso Film, Denmark. Further details can be found on www.imdb.com.
He has taught script development courses in the UK and abroad – notably at the National Film and Television School – and is co-author with Tony Bicât of Creative Screenwriting (Crowood Press 2002).
